Interactive Anatomy eLearning Modules

The following are examples of learning interactions developed for an undergraduate anatomy course, based on the BodyViz 3D DICOM visualization software. I outlined each systemic anatomy module to align with HAPS learning guidelines and wrote the content, gathered DICOM-based images, and created additional illustrations and graphic elements to support each interaction. I developed the interaction module in Adobe Captive and published LMS-compliant eLearning modules, that were able to be uploaded to client learning management system. Each learning module was also paired with a BodyViz file, which housed a representative CT or MRI scan with saved views and annotations for the user to explore in conjunction with the digital content.

Interactive Asset Examples

Example of the assets used to create a rollover interaction, comparing the histological layers of arteries, veins, and capillaries.

Example of the assets used to create a rollover interaction, highlighting the fluid compartments of the body, and the movement of fluid from the blood vessel, into the interstitial fluid, and into a lymphatic vessel.
